EU Commission has recently identified the chemical substance Resorcinol to be harmful and can pose risk to human health. Thereby, the EU member states agreed to include the substance Resorcinol in the REACh candidate list with a majority of votes the resolution was adopted and finally the substance Resorcinol is added to the REACh candidate list Resorcinol is normally used in rubber products, tires, adhesives, resins, etc
