Amendment to Section III, Table 3 of Annex VI to the CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008
• Published: June 20, 2025, in the EU Official Journal.
• Purpose: Update harmonized classification and labeling of several chemicals to reflect new scientific risk assessments.
• Effective date: Enters into force 20 days after publication (~July 10, 2025).
• Mandatory compliance: From February 1, 2027, all chemicals/mixtures on the EU market must comply.
• Voluntary transition: Companies can adopt early to ease compliance.
Key Amendments

Implementation Notes:
• Companies placing chemicals on the EU market after Feb 1, 2027, must apply these updated classifications and labelling.
• Early adoption is permitted to allow smoother transition.
