5 November 2020 – By 2022, The Enforcement Forum has agreed to check the compliance of companies that have to notify hazardous mixtures (e.g. detergents, paints, adhesives) to the Poison Centre Notification portal on a pilot project. The whole project is planned as below,

● By 1 January 2021- an obligation on certain hazardous mixtures placed on the market from consumers and professionals can be notified.

● From 2021 – The Forum will start preparing this pilot project.

● From the second half of 2022 until mid-2023 -plans to carry out inspections.

● By early 2024 – The project will come to Act.

This information is then made available to poison centers so they can advise citizens or medical personnel in the event of a poisoning.

The forum and Biocidal Products Regulation Subgroup (BPRS) think this will increase transparency and engagement with stakeholders and to organize remote workshops for accredited stakeholder organizations after each of their enforcement projects to discuss the results and recommendations for the industry.
