There are now 235 entries for chemicals that can be harmful to persons or the environment on the Candidate List of compounds of extremely high concern. Companies control the risk associated with these substances and educate clients and customers on how to use them safely.

Two new substances have been added by ECHA (European Chemicals Agency) to the Candidate List. One harms reproduction, whereas the other has dangerous, persistent, and bioaccumulative characteristics. They are utilized, for instance, in creating plastic goods, inks, and toners.
