Application codes are associated with some legal conditions on certain substances or substance groups. The application codes connect to how the material is used in a component (part). From 21st July 2021, these application codes for PAHs & Nickel have been updated in IMDS. Below are the updates which are implemented.

1. The below application codes for PAHs will be deactivated:

  • ● Non-tire application
  • ● Not applicable

And these going to replace by these below application codes

  • ● 218-01-9 à Chrysene
  • ● 53-70-3 à Dibenz[a,h]anthracene

3. All other application codes for the above 8 and below 11 are excluded PAHs are no more considered application relevant.
