ECHA received a proposal for 8 new substances of very high concern (SVHC) substance which seriously affects human health and the environment. The below table shows, eight new SVHC chemical substances proposed. These were mostly used in polymers and rubber products, water and textile cleaning treatment, biocides, chemical processing., etc. If a substance is identified as an SVHC after evaluation, it will be moved to the Candidate List for eventual inclusion in the Authorisation List. The last deadline for commenting is 23/04/2021.
