The scope of work was to redesign the roller coaster car chassis in order to add additional structural support and improve overall rigidity

Design process

  • Analyzed the customer-specified regions of the roller coaster car chassis for redesign feasibility and integration. 
  • Redesigned the roller coaster chassis with a focus on both aesthetics and structural functionality. 
  • Added additional supports in the redesigned areas to ensure the chassis can withstand oncoming loads. 
  • Removed and redesigned conflicting areas in the chassis after updating the assembly to the new design. 
  • Updated and resolved related issues (Hole Mismatch, Tolerance Errors) in the existing roller coaster assembly following customer approval. 
  • Added welding joints at critical locations in the assembly to improve structural integrity. 
  • Exported all finalized parts in STEP format for CNC manufacturing.
