Overview of the Registry
The Registry of Classification and Labelling (CLH) intentions until outcome provides a comprehensive list of intentions and proposals submitted to the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) for new or revised harmonised classifications and labelling of substances. These proposals come from Member State competent authorities, manufacturers, importers, and downstream users.
Tracking Proposal Progress
Interested parties can track the progress of each proposal throughout the CLH process, from the initial notification of intent to the adoption of the opinion by the Committee for Risk Assessment (RAC). This advance notice is crucial for stakeholders to prepare for potential comment opportunities.
Call for Relevant Information
Stakeholders with pertinent information regarding the identity or hazard properties of a substance are encouraged to share this information with the dossier submitter during the early stages of the process or, at the latest, during the consultation period.Status Updates
When an opinion is adopted by the RAC, it will be marked as “Opinion Adopted” in the registry.
Additional Resources
For substances that have been reviewed, the classification tables can be found in the "Corrigenda to the RAC opinions" document. As of October 15, 2024, the database contains 793 unique substances and entries.
