The European Commission planned to prepare a REACH restriction proposal on carcinogenic, mutagenic, and reprotoxic (CMR) substances in childcare articles.

Calls for comments and evidence for the substance below which helps interested parties to express their opinion on the preparatory phase of the restriction proposal & helps to develop Annex XV restriction dossiers.

1. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and PVC additives.
2. Substances that are classified as a carcinogen, germ cell mutagen or reproductive toxicant category 1A or 1B in Part 3 of Annex VI to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008

This is open till 31 March 2023 and the report is expected to be ready in September 2023.
