Due to the Russia-Ukraine war, RMI suspended new RMAP assessments in Russia, effective from September 19, 2022. The suspension of assessments will impact auditees currently on the Conformant and Active lists. As a result, new smelters from Russia won't be able to join the RMAP program and the old smelters will be removed from the RMI conformant/active list once their license expires. All companies have to take their sourcing decision accordingly.
