The Committee for Risk Assessment (RAC) issued its recommendations on the harmonized classification and labeling of glyphosate and silver, as well as the restriction of lead in hunting, outdoor sports shooting, and fishing ammunition. The Committee for Socio-Economic Analysis (SEAC) issued its recommendation to limit the use of Dechlorane Plus.

RAC endorsed ten opinions on harmonized classification and labeling, including those on glyphosate and silver. It also completed its final opinion on ECHA's proposal to limit lead in hunting, outdoor sports shooting, and fishing ammunition, while SEAC agreed on its draught opinion on the same proposal.

The RAC agreed to maintain the current categorization of glyphosate as causing substantial eye impairment and being hazardous to aquatic life. Both RAC and SEAC support lead limitations but suggest some modifications.

SEAC adopted its judgment on Norway's proposal to restrict Dechlorane Plus.  In March 2022, RAC expressed its position regarding the same restriction.

RAC concluded its judgment in favor proposal to limit the use of 2,4-dinitrotoluene (2,4-DNT) in products (articles).SEAC also supports the restriction. The plan effectively prohibits the substance's supply and use in products imported into the EU market. 2,4-DNT is a carcinogen that has been on the REACH Authorization List since 2011.
