ZVO has been added under the group of preferred (published) MDS.

Based on the changes in recommendations 007, 008, 011 and 012 in September 2022, the IMDS Steering Committee has removed several published materials as they were not in accordance with norms.

Hence, these materials have been made hidden by the steering committee.

On the other hand, Zentralverband Oberflächentechnik (ZVO), who supported the creation of the surface treatments has now come forward to take over full responsibility and maintenance of the same.

As a result of which warnings were raised if the MDSs from ZVO was used as they were hidden by the Steering Committee Therefore, the MDSs from ZVO are temporarily made as published one and the checks in IMDS can be exempted.
