The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has embarked on an expansive study in collaboration with the European Union Observatory for Nanomaterials (EUON). This investigative effort is aimed at gathering and evaluating data related to nanomaterial-based and nano-enabled plant protection products, biocidal products, and fertilizing products.
Focus on Nanoforms and Stakeholder Input
This study aims to comprehensively review literature and documents related to nano forms of active substances and delivery systems used in specialized formulations. Additionally, it aims to involve important stakeholders from the European Union (EU) and other regions.
Call for Participation
Interested stakeholders are invited to contribute to this pivotal research initiative through questionnaires and interviews. The study aims to gather valuable insights and perspectives from a diverse range of experts in the field.
Deadline for Contributions
The survey will remain open for participation until February 29, 2024, at 18:00 (CET). This collaborative effort marks a significant step in understanding and regulating nanomaterials within plant protection, biocides, and fertilizers.
