⮚ Data Integration: Data had to be integrated from different sources into their website
⮚ Search Functionality: Facility to search with titles, interchanges and also be able to see the images during search.
⮚ Product Visualization: Website images needed to be watermarked and also made lighter to improve performance. Different watermarks were required for different sites.
⮚ Inadequate PDP: Product Detail Page had gaps in data like missing technical specifications, fit form function, direct crosses etc.

APA proposed solutions to improve customer data integration, enrich raw data, and enhance user experience.
1) Unified Data Platform:
APA’s PMT software allowed customer to import their product data from various sources and consolidate all the information in one location allowing the customer to review and improve the data quality. This also improved the quality of information on the catalog product pages. APA’s data analysts help the customer in cleaning and loading the latest data as well as price and inventory into the ERP and PMT systems.
2) Integrated Search Features:
Data from PMT is being synced to the catalog at frequent intervals to ensure that the latest information is available for the search function. Also, facility to search for direct crosses, fit form functions, title descriptions and view thumbnails of searched parts have been introduced to improve searching experience and effectiveness.
3) Better Digital Assets:
All images have been consolidated in a Digital Asset Management (Asset Vault) system that provides customer options to search and export images efficiently. Image URL and meta data from Asset Vault flow in a seamless manner, from Asset Vault to PMT system and from there to the catalog. Product images were corrected to the proper aspect ratio with suitable watermark for a better visualization.
